“ We needed a dog friendly restaurant and happy we found El Camaron on Yelp. Their outdoor patio is large and welcoming. Karla, our server, was the best. She was helpful with suggesting items to order and always came to check on us. We ordered the chicharron de puerco and chicharron de pescado for appetizers and shared a carne asada plate. All was delicious. A mariachi band was a pleasant surprise. If you want to order alcohol, you need to order it from the bar next door. La Costa only takes cash but they have an ATM. We'll definitely be back to try their sushi and mariscos. ”
“ Such friendly service for what I thought was a hole in the wall, but it actually was a pretty decently sized restaurant if you consider the outside patio. It's a great place to bring a family or a group of friends as the service is incredibly friendly and helpful, the ambience is nice, and the food is delicious! We tried Mexican sushi for the first time and enjoyed it. It was a hearty portion and besides the sushi, we order a burrito and another platter, and I ended up bringing the burrito home completely untouched. Great spot! Parking is a little challenging on the street but well worth it. ”
“ Everything sooo good, but my favorite are the sinaloa rolls. My favorite is the Aleman roll ask for it fried. The meat was spectacular and delicious it was seasoned to perfection. All the portions are big and you can definitely share plates with other people so you can try a variety of their huge menu. When we come we always opt to side in the back patio as its more roomier and more calm and its a nice place to hang out at. The waitresses are always really nice and quick and the food always comes out pretty fast and its definitely hot. Definitely would recommend coming here to try their food! ”
“ This might have been the best street tacos Al Pastor I've ever eaten. Meat was so tender and "fine" - either ground up or pulled apart so well, that I melted in your mouth. The mere $12 plate for three corn tacos which made made full, but it was so good I wanted to take some to go, too bad I'm staying at a hotel and have no room in the fridge! May get some takeout on my way out of town. Just delish! We also had the shrimp tacos which are bigger and on flour tacos and they were fresh and delish as well, but I just can't say enough about the Al Pastor!!! ”
“ We , a family of four and a toddler, were in need of delicious Mexican style seafood so we chose this place. Parking as always is not easy but if you are lucky enough you will find a spot near the front door. We ordered tacos gobernador de camarón , yum! A quesadilla as the shell stuffed with creamy fajita like style shrimp. Those are a must try, it's three per order. We also ordered chicharrón de pescado which was wonderfully crispy and well seasoned, oh yeah! The coconut horchata was a party favorite and you can't go wrong with a suero to pair with all the nice choices. We also ordered papadas which is mashed potatoes loaded with toppings, cheese and breaded sliced chicken. Different, good but not my favorite of our choices. They have Sinaloa's style sushi as well, chorizo, etc. great choices. The only down side is that there was one server for both the patio and inside so we had to wait a very long time. There were heaters but no gas tanks except for one so we were cold until another table generously offered the heater for our son. Service was not the best that night but the good made it all worthwhile. ”
“ Amazing fresh mariscos! The servers are so nice and took very good care of us! Our waitress even recommended plates that we should get. I recommend eating outside to enjoy the outside patio decorations. ”
“ The food at El Camarón is really tasty and fresh. We ordered the chicharrón and guacamole and the stuffed yellow chiles (forgot the name of them) and fajitas for the entree. The chicharrones were crispy and hot when they arrived, the stuffed chiles were equally fresh and had some kick to it. The fajitas were also fresh and hot, but a little on the blander side, but not bad. I love that they make the handmade tortillas. The waitress was very nice and did a decent job attending to us initially and then it kinda dropped off as we ate and had to get up and ask for refills and a beer. The bar is separate from the restaurant and charges separately. The young lady tending bar was nice and attentive. Definitely coming back again. ”
“ We were in the area during a work night so we found this gem, and let me tell you definitely worth a come back to sample more of their offerings. Let me break down all we sampled and how it all faired Pulpichelados - baby octopus grilled to perfection and seasoned well, lime added if you like that add more taste to this already seasoned dish, if you like baby octopus definitely must try Salmon Tacos - grilled not fried, seasoned perfectly, very filling and the fish did not fall apart on any bite like salmon does when it is overdone, order this if you like salmon Molcajete Mar y Tierra - literally a bucket of seafood and meat all grilled, at the bottom base you have green onions, then you have carne asada that sits on the bottom sucking up all that juice from all the other items, it was super tender, perfectly made, grilled chicken also sitting in the sauce, not dry, juicy, tender, chicharon they don't skim these are pretty hefty slices this was the only item that was deep fried it also sat at the bottom sucking up all the juices, dip in the sauce provided or back into the bottom of the bowl, the shrimp was seasoned well, not rubbery, shell still on but definitely hearty, also trying to call out from the bowl is semi large octopus boiled then grilled I believe but it was seasoned well, if you want a sample a bit of everything this is the dish you want. Son had the chicken tenders and fries smh - he said it was good, he was not in the mood of having latin food today daughter had a cheese quesadilla - she sed it was delightful lol Drinks wife had the margarita which was slightly strong but made well Michelada - made perfect I should have ordered 2 more, spice and flavoring was perfect no need to change anything Alcoholic beverages you have to pay with cash everything else you can use your card The vibe is friendly and chatter is loud, the servers primarily speak Spanish so bring a friend to translate or point at everything you want lol food ***** no complaints definite must try price $$ service ***** very helpful, friendly, chatty especially if you speak Spanish ambiance ***** sit in the back outdoor section when it is warm you will definitely not feel like you are in RWC ”
“ Food is delicious! Everything ordered by our table was good. We had the tacos al pastor, tacos pezcado, tacos camaron, coctel mixto, quesadillas de nino, chicharron de puerco. Very friendly wait staff and simple casual interior. They also have a nice patio area outside if you want some fresh air. ”
